Wealth

Read this edition of Pulse 2001, which focuses on wealth, and you'll meet some interesting people. Among them:

  • Alec Dingee of Rockport, who started his career as an entrepreneur in the 1950s, later became a venture capitalist, and is now divising new ways to form and nurture new enterprises;

  • Katherine Busboom Magrath, who finds Marblehead a great place from which to run her billion-dollar investment firm; and

  • Gayle Yarnall of Salisbury, a blind woman with the vision and acumen to run her business and still help others to find their way in a world that might otherwise be dark.

    And there are others, people who are starting new businesses with dreams of wealth, or people who have built businesses that help people spend their wealth, or folks like the three above, who use it as a tool to build things and help people.

    In this last edition of Pulse 2001 they tell you how businesses get started in the new millenium, what they need to succeed, and how even good ideas face imposing challenges.

    It's all about wealth, and we hope you enjoy it.
